The NCO’s 2026 Reading Session brings together musicians from across the country to read through the repertoire planned for the orchestra’s debut concert.

The session marks an important milestone as the National Contemporary Orchestra bring to life the works that are giving voice to our modern era.

This year’s Session features works by Igor Stravinsky, John Adams, David Sartor, Miho Sasaki, Aaron Krerowicz, and Michael Schelle.
